Video Troubleshooting
Here are a few simple fixes:
- Make sure there is nothing blocking or covering your camera
- Try toggling your video off and back on by clicking on the video button
- Check that you have granted your web browser permission to access your camera. You can check this in your computer browser/phone settings to make sure the permission is turned on to allow this functionality
- Leave the Coaching Session by clicking ‘Leave Session’ and rejoin immediately
- Try logging out of the Web Platform or Mobile App and log back in
- Make sure you don’t have another video conference application running (e.g. Zoom, Teams, Webex)
Audio Troubleshooting
If your audio is not working, here are a few simple fixes:
- Try toggling your microphone off and back on by clicking on the icon
- Check that you granted your web browser access to your microphone. You can check this in your computer/browser or phone settings to make sure the permission is turned on to allow this functionality
- Switch to a different Web Browser – Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc.
- Dial-in to your Coaching Session on your phone. You can find your local number and Conference ID by clicking on the ‘Join Session by Phone’ button. You can also find your local dial-in number and Conference ID in your calendar invite.
If the audio is unclear but working, there are a few potential solutions:
- If you are on speakerphone or Bluetooth headset, please try using a wired headset
- Disable third party noise canceling software
NOTE: Headphones provide clearer audio than speakerphone
